🌱 A system should follow you, not the other way around

We try to learn a new system, so we ask others what their best practice are and how to do it.

We try to copy exactly what they recommend. But in the end, find it doesn’t work well for you.

Like me, I wanted to learn about Personal Knowledge Management, then The Zettelkasten note-taking method and 🌱 Evergreen notes for my Obsidian. I felt overwhelmed and overstressed to following the system.

Then I realized that a system that works for others might not work for me. So I have to try it and see what’s best for me.

A system should work for you, not the other way around.
